  • The 1911 census record images are of poor quality, not only in graphics but also the handwitten information. Kudos are extended to the team of Rod Chase and Cheryl Martyn for deciphering the information as well as they did. I have used the correct spelling of the more obvious errors. Trying to verify some of the information, I moved between Find a Grave, Provincial Archives, Ancestry.ca and old newspapers. At least two entries cannot be traced at all.
  • Sometimes the occupation is listed as "income." Apparently it means retired.
